Job Title: FLOOR EXPEDITOR (FabCorp)
Reports to: PROJECT MANAGER (FabCorp)
SUMMARY:
Performs a variety of clerical and administrative activities to support the FabCorp General Manager, as well as the Production & Planning Department.
Essential duties and responsibilities are described below. Other duties may be assigned.
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES (Essential duties and responsibilities):
- Coordinate with project manager, production, warehouse and quality departments.
- Transports materials to and from receiving locations, warehouse bin locations, production shop and Quality area as assigned.
- Palletizes, re-palletizes or prepares materials for transfer between departments as assigned.
- Track, monitor and follow orders from initiation to completion
- Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages and ensure materials are available for jobs
- Assist in expediting parts from all departments to ensure jobs are available when required.
- Expedite/ track customer parts
- Close and pull work orders for Fabrication and assembly
- Attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this job.
- Follows company safety & security guidelines.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Good understanding of the manufacturing process.
- Previous warehouse experience
REQUIRED ADDITIONAL TRAINING (to be provided, if necessary)
- Use of computer and bar-code equipment
- Global Shop operations for receiving, inventory transactions and production order processing
- Forklift operation
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Employee may be required to do the following: climbing into and out of equipment; reaching in all directions, handling and manipulating objects and materials; coordinating the movements of eyes, hands, fingers and feet to operate tools and equipment; lifting up to 30 pounds from ground level, waist level, and/or overhead; carrying objects, tools, equipment, etc.; standing; sitting; walking; pushing; pulling; bending; kneeling; crouching/squatting; crawling; seeing with or without correction; hearing with or without correction. The employee is frequently required to sit while performing the duties of this job (approx. 70%) walk (30%) stand (0%). The employee is expected to lift or move materials (5% of workday)
