Hours & Pay
* Pay Rate: $20-$25 per hour (DOE)
* Schedule: Part-time, flexible 15-20 hours per week
* Employment Type: Temporary

Daily Tasks
* Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and payroll processing through ADP
* Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
* Maintain accurate, organized, and compliant financial records
* Prepare monthly and annual financial statements and internal reports
* Submit required North Carolina annual reports and estimated tax payments
* Prepare and distribute annual tax documents, including W-2s and 1099-NEC/ MISC
* Compile annual financial organizer materials for external CPAs
* Serve as the primary contact for bookkeeping questions and documentation
* Ensure confidentiality, accuracy, and consistency across all financial data
Requirements
* 3+ years of experience as a full-charge bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role
* Strong working knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
* QuickBooks experience required
* Payroll processing and reconciliation experience
* High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
* Ability to manage deadlines independently and communicate clearly
* Proven integrity and professionalism when handling sensitive financial information
* Experience with nonprofit or faith-based organizations is a plus, but not required
