Soni's client is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to handle vendor payment processing and related accounting functions in a fast-paced environment. This position requires accuracy, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while following established protocols. The ideal candidate is comfortable with accounting systems and enjoys resolving discrepancies efficiently.
Responsibilities:
* Process and validate vendor invoices, ensuring compliance with client standards.
* Prepare and post journal entries, accrual schedules, and maintain accurate records.
* Oversee credit card expense reporting and ensure adherence to policy guidelines.
* Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, including statutory reporting and special projects.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
* At least 1 year of experience in accounts payable or general accounting.
* Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Dynamics).
* Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
Compensation: $70,000-$75,000
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
