Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Contract Barback to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist bartenders in maintaining the bar area, ensuring it is well-stocked, clean, and organized to provide excellent service to our patrons.
Key Responsibilities: - Assist bartenders with stocking and restocking bar inventory, including liquor, beer, wine, mixers, and garnishes. - Clean and sanitize bar areas, including counters, sinks, glassware, and equipment. - Remove trash and recycling, ensuring the bar area remains tidy and presentable. - Assist in preparing garnishes and other bar prep work as needed. - Refill ice bins and maintain ice levels throughout the shift. - Monitor and maintain cleanliness in the bar area, including sweeping and mopping floors. - Support bartenders in serving drinks during busy periods. - Perform other duties as assigned by the bar manager or head bartender.
Skills and Qualifications: - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills. - Must be able to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods. - Must be at least 21 years old and have the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
