As a Fitness Engagement Specialist, you are responsible for developing, implementing, and managing fitness programs and overall Fitness Center Guidelines that promote employee and family health and well‑being. Responsible to design initiatives and programs that encourage participation, improving overall family wellness, and ensuring the smooth operation of fitness‑related activities within Belmark. All activities and engagements must align and promote Belmark’s culture. Responsible for basic facility maintenance, cleanliness, and operation, ensuring a welcoming and safe environment for all participants. A nationally recognized company; our customers vary from small to large companies, and customer satisfaction is our primary goal. Schedule: Flexible hours based on business needs for a total of 40 hours per week.

What will I do in this role?
Design, implement, and manage fitness programs, including group classes, wellness challenges and special fitness events.
Greet and welcome fitness center visitors and provide guidance to the usage and offerings of the facility.
Develop strategies to increase employee participation in fitness initiatives, ensuring programs meet diverse needs and interests.
Monitor, track and analyze program participation and effectiveness, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvements based on data.
Coordinate the maintenance and scheduling of the fitness center, including managing equipment, classes, and ensuring safety and sanitary standards are maintained. This includes coordination with internal maintenance team or a 3rd party provider, as well as ordering and inventory of supplies.
Collaborate with third party fitness providers, trainers and experts to enhance program offerings. This includes the selection and scheduling of instructors and classes.
Partner with the Internal Communications Specialist to create communication content to market the facility and offerings.
Partner with on‑site medical personnel to ensure streamlined communication and offerings for employees.
May complete assigned special projects based on business need.
Responsible to follow all safety procedures as required by the role, and to nurture a food safety culture by adhering to all Safe Quality Foods requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:
Requires education as is typically acquired through an Associate’s degree. A Bachelor’s degree in Health Science or related field preferred.
Certifications from at least one of the following is preferred: American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) or National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), and/or Personal Trainer certification.
Two (2) years experience with corporate wellness, fitness programming, or related field is preferred.
Knowledge of and the ability to effectively utilize the English language.
Requires strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to engage with and motivate employees and family members.
Knowledge of health and fitness best practices, and the ability to apply this knowledge to a corporate setting.
Ability to create and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and vendors.
Proven comfort with Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
