This role blends project management, data handling, and workflow optimization. The ideal candidate has strong technical problem‑solving skills, learns systems quickly, and can translate needs between legal stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors. Prior eDiscovery experience is helpful but not required; organized technologists or engineers with strong data and automation skills are excellent matches.

Coordinate data collection across a variety of enterprise platforms (email, collaboration and messaging tools, cloud storage, productivity systems, local files, mobile). Track evolving project scopes and deadlines while ensuring defensible, well-documented processes.

2. Workflow Automation & Tool Development Build or enhance internal tools and systems to streamline eDiscovery operations and reduce manual steps. Use scripting, automation platforms, or low‑code tools to improve consistency, reduce human error, and speed up repetitive tasks. Apply AI‑assisted methods to support data extraction, classification, normalization, and workflow automation. Contribute to the development and maintenance of systems that track custodians, preservation events, and matter‑related data.

3. Data Analysis & Process Optimization Analyze data sources, collection parameters, and workflow patterns to identify opportunities for efficiency and improvement. Monitor and refine internal processes to ensure consistency, accuracy, and defensibility across matters. Help maintain clear documentation and historical tracking for matters, custodians, and collection activity. Collaborate with legal teams to assess and streamline workflows as data types, systems, and legal requirements evolve.

4. Technical Consultation & Collaboration Serve as a liaison between legal teams, IT, outside counsel, and vendors, ensuring smooth communication and alignment of expectations. Provide guidance on technical aspects of the eDiscovery lifecycle, including challenges with modern data sources. Educate stakeholders on processes, limitations, and best practices to support informed decision‑making.
