Leading and mentoring our garden crew using the best horticultural practices
Working with clients to suggest and install small garden enhancements
Managing seasonal care, including pruning, planting, weeding, and cleanups
Identifying pest, disease, or plant health issues and solving them proactively
Building trusted relationships with our clients by consistently showing up, communicating clearly, and delivering results
Operating in all weather conditions—because the gardens don’t stop when it rains
What We’re Looking For
2+ years of hands‑on gardening or landscaping experience
Strong plant ID skills and knowledge of New England horticulture
A passion for gardens and mentoring others
Excellent communication and a client‑first mindset
Ability to lift 60+ lbs and handle physically demanding work
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Bonus if you have experience in upselling enhancements or doing small garden design

Your Role as Lead Landscape Gardener As a lead gardener, you’ll bring your experience and plant knowledge to the field each day, guiding a team and maintaining some of the area’s most beautiful properties. You’ll work hand‑in‑hand with our Maintenance Manager to deliver exceptional care—and inspire your team to do the same.
Salary & Benefits What’s In It for You
Hourly Pay:
$24–$28/hour based on experience
Commissions:
Earn bonuses on client‑approved garden enhancements
