American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for an adult comprehensive rehab unit with afternoon/evening shifts and strict licensure and vaccination requirements.
Job Details
- Work in an inpatient comprehensive rehab unit for adults within a hospital setting,
- Unit features 30 private rooms caring for patients with limb loss, burns, major organ transplants, polytrauma, and rehab patients requiring telemetry monitoring,
- Shifts are 8 hours from 15:00 to 23:30 with every other weekend required,
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system used is Epic,
- Team uses UKG/Kronos for timekeeping,
Job Requirements
- Active, unencumbered MA RN license required at time of consideration; conditional licenses not accepted,
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required,
- Proof of MA RN licensure required at the time of consideration,
- Completion of primary COVID-19 vaccine series (FDA or WHO approved) and flu vaccination required with no exemptions or waivers allowed,
- No minimum years of experience required, but current med/surg experience is ideal,
- Two professional references required,
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include caring for a diverse rehab population with medical and telemetry monitoring needs,
- Must provide direct patient care, coordinate rehab activities, and monitor for changes in condition,
- Every other weekend coverage is required,
- No validated parking is available at Boston locations; candidates should plan for public transportation or paid public parking,
- All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of consideration,
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply,
- Local candidates living within 60 miles of Boston are accepted at a reduced rate,
