Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $80,000 to $85,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities:
* Review and oversee cash management for family and related entities to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
* Develop and maintain budgets for personal and related activities while monitoring variances.
* Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
* Prepare financial statements, cash flow reports, and variance analyses for management review.
* Coordinate payroll processing, employee benefits, and compliance filings such as Forms 1099 and tax reports.
Requirements:
* Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel for financial reporting and analysis.
* Communicate effectively with household personnel, vendors, and external advisors to resolve issues promptly.
* Apply strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate documentation.
* Handle confidential documents and sensitive financial data with discretion and professionalism.
* Collaborate with legal and tax advisors to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
Qualifications:
* A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
* 5+ years of experience in personal or small business accounting or financial management.
* Show experience working with high-net-worth individuals and managing complex financial activities.
* Exhibit exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
* Display excellent interpersonal and communication skills for both inward and outward-facing interactions.
