*4x10s Monday-Friday, 1200-2230, rotating start times as needed* Open to 3x12s with 10am-10pm shift. Manager will determine base on skillset and need of unit at time of submittal.

Years of experience REQ: At least 2-3 years Level 1 ICU experience required.

Skills REQ: Critical care experience, Inpatient, Level I Trauma Center, Phase I PACU, Dysrhythmia recognition/management, Blood Product Administration, Phlebotomy, Starting IVs, IV vasopressors, ICP monitoring, Care of Ventilated patients, General

Guaranteed Hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks. The cancelled shifts must be the regular shift length to which the Contractor Personnel is assigned

Special Requirements:

Pt. population includes adults, occasional adolescents, and geriatric population in level 1 trauma center.

Surgical patients we recover include: Neurosurgery, ENT, plastics, orthopedics, thoracic, vascular, trauma, general, colorectal, GYN, urological, electrophysiology, interventional radiology, and transplant.

We do not recover open heart surgeries or liver transplants.

Unit has own PCT/transport team

Unit open 24/7. Consists of 38 patient bays. Staff needed for recovery of vast array of acute post op patients. Critical care experience required as some patients require artificial airways, invasive monitoring (including ICP), transfusions, and vasoactive drugs. Surgical patients we recover include: Neurosurgery, ENT, plastics, orthopedics, thoracic, vascular, trauma, general, colorectal, GYN, urological, electrophysiology, interventional radiology, and transplant. We do not recover open heart surgeries or liver transplants.

*night shift would have to learn how to work up a preop patient
