American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring an active OH or compact RN license and recent specialty experience.
Job Details
- Work in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit at a hospital,
- Night shifts available with options for 3x12, 4x12, or 2x12 hour shifts, 7:00pm-7:30am,
- Care for adult medical-surgical patients requiring telemetry monitoring,
- Qualivis - Lotus system used for submitting hours worked,
- May be required to complete ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation,
Job Requirements
- Active OH or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration,
- AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIHSS must be obtained prior to start,
- Minimum of 18 months of recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience prior to travel,
- At least one recent reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, director, or charge RN in the specialty within the past 12 months,
- Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation (two attempts permitted),
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include providing comprehensive care to Med/Surg Tele patients during night shifts,
- Night shift assignments with flexibility in shift scheduling,
- Local candidates accepted,
- Negative 10 Panel + Nicotine (Cotinine) drug screen required within 12 months of start and annually thereafter,
- BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing,
- Assignments at the facility are limited to a maximum of 18 consecutive months, with a 6 month break required before returning,
- Annual mandatory modules completed via Silkroad, with billable hours for pre-start and annual requirements,
