Job Summary
The Verification Pharmacist will be responsible for but not limited to being an integral part of our team; collaborating closely with all departments to ensure the safe, accurate, and efficient dispensing of compounded medications across the country. We're growing fast, and you will play a key role with regard to high volume dispensing, customer service, and helping us continue to improve in every way, every day.
Key Responsibilities
* High volume verification of compounded sterile & non-sterile prescriptions.
* High-level customer service with a business & sales/marketing mindset.
* Ensuring efficient and accurate dispensing & customer service.
* Collaborating with team members in all departments.
* Ensuring all regulatory laws/requirements are followed/met/satisfied.
Qualifications
Required
* Education: An active pharmacist license in good standing from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
* Experience: Minimum one year experience in a high volume pharmacy setting.
* Skills: Proficient in interpreting & filling patient-specific provider orders. Excellent with problem-solving, communication, teamwork, efficiency, & accuracy.
* Certification Requirement: Pharmacist License.
Preferred
* Compounding pharmacy experience is a plus.
Physical Requirements
* Ability to sit for extended periods of time at a desk and working on a computer
* Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone, or via virtual meeting
* Ability to maintain focus in a typical office environment with moderate noise levels
* Ability to perform repetitive motions with hands and arms, such as typing.
