Join CAREonsite as a Registered Nurse (RN) - Occupational Health & Injury Case Management!
CAREonsite , a division of Tang & Company , provides occupational medical services nationwide . We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Registered Nurse (RN) with at least two years of experience in general medicine, occupational health, or emergency room nursing .
Schedule & Pay:
* Schedule: Mon-Fri 6:00am - 2:30pm (PRN)
* Pay Range: $39 - $41
What You'll Do:
* Support & Monitor Occupational Health Programs - Provide care, oversight, and coordination of a wide range of occupational health services.
* Health Promotion & Education - Develop health promotion programs in collaboration with the supervising occupational physician .
* Medical Reporting & Compliance - Provide accurate, well-documented medical reports and formulate occupational health procedures as needed.
* Health Assessments & Surveillance - Conduct job-specific health assessments, pre-employment exams, and ongoing health surveillance .
* First Aid & Injury Case Management - Provide first aid care , manage work-related injuries and illnesses , and coordinate follow-up care per protocol.
* Clinical Expertise - Perform phlebotomy, IV blood draws, and administer immunizations as required.
* Occupational Illness & Injury Consultation - Work under established protocols to evaluate, monitor, and report potential occupational illnesses and injuries.
What We're Looking For:
* Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
* At least 2 years of experience in general medicine, occupational health, or emergency room nursing.
* Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS/AED) certification from the American Heart Association.
* Proficiency in phlebotomy, IV blood draws, and immunizations.
* Strong computer skills - Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic medical data management.
* Physical ability - Requires standing and walking for up to five hours per shift; infrequent lifting of up to 15 lbs.
Additional Requirements (Manager to Complete):
* Disability Management: Support TPA in managing disability cases, fitness for duty exams, and functional capacity evaluations.
* Collaborate with local HR and supervisors on the Disability Management Program.
* Support Occupational Physician with the Fit for Duty (FFD) process.
* Act as a resource to employees and local management for absence control programs.
