PGS Worldwide
PGS Worldwide is seeking an Electronics Assembler in Austin, TX for a 7-month contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This position focuses on assembling electronic components, sub-assemblies, and systems by following written work instructions, diagrams, and process sheets. You will build and verify electronic assemblies using standard tools and measurement techniques, with opportunities to perform mechanical assembly operations, soldering, and/or operate processing equipment depending on the area assigned. This is a hands-on role that requires strong attention to detail, quality focus, and comfort working from electronic and printed documentation.
Required Skills
* Two (2) years of High School or Trade School education
* Experience assembling electronic components, assemblies, subassemblies, and modules using work instructions, prints, diagrams, and visual aids
* Ability to follow process sheets and perform repeatable build steps to quality standards
* Ability to perform mechanical assembly operations and/or work with processing machines used in electronics manufacturing
* Familiarity with standard measuring tools and basic measurement techniques used to verify assembly work
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a production environment
Preferred Skills
* Comfort using Windows-based computers and electronic documentation systems
* Electronic circuit card assembly experience
* Hand soldering experience
* IPC J-STD certification (or prior exposure to IPC soldering/workmanship standards)
What You'll Do

* Maintain a clean, organized workstation and adhere to safety and quality requirements
