We are working with a leading specialty distributor of building materials, servicing residential and commercial contractors and builders. With the growth of the company, we are looking for a driven individual to take on a District Sales Management role.
As a District Sales Manager, you will have the exciting opportunity to oversee sales efforts across multiple branch locations in South Texas. You will be entrusted with the responsibility of managing day-to-day sales and ensuring the profitability of your assigned branches. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, and a passion for driving sales growth.
Position Responsibilities
* Responsible for development and performance of the sales and profit plan
* Responsible for driving sales and extraordinary customer satisfaction.
* Provide Leadership: Training and mentoring of branch sales associates.
* Development of new locations and growth opportunities.
* Ability to ensure branch's meets or exceeds the service expectations demanded by customers.
Requirements
* Sales Management experience in the construction supply industry.
* Proven track record of managing a successful sales staff.
* Strong, positive personality to communicate with upper management, staff, and sales staff and clients at all levels.
* Must be a well rounded sales manager who embraces new ideas, brings new ideas to the organization to impact the company's success.
* Strong business acumen.
* College degree preferred, but experience more important.
