Job Summary
The Part-Time Plumber will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems for our clients. The ideal candidate is experienced, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.Key Responsibilities
* Install, repair, and maintain pipes, fixtures, and plumbing systems (commercial).
* Troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, water heater problems, and fixture malfunctions.
* Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
* Install and repair water heaters, sump pumps, faucets, toilets, and other plumbing components.
* Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes and safety standards.
* Communicate clearly with customers and office staff about job status and recommendations.
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment on job sites.
Qualifications
* Valid NYS plumbing experience (license preferred but not required depending on project scope).
* Minimum 2-3 years of professional plumbing experience.
* Strong knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations.
* Ability to diagnose problems quickly and provide effective solutions.
* Must have own basic plumbing tools (specialty tools provided if needed).
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
* Strong communication and customer service skills.
Schedule & Hours
* Part-time, flexible hours
* Ideal for someone looking to supplement existing work or seeking a reduced schedule
* Occasional weekend availability a plus
