Lothlorien is a unique therapeutic community based near the village of Corsock in rural Dumfries and Galloway. Set within 17 acres of beautiful woodlands, gardens, and meadows, Lothlorien has spent over 40 years demonstrating the powerful benefits of organic gardening and nature-based therapeutic activities in supporting people experiencing mental health challenges.
We are now seeking a compassionate and motivated Deputy Manager to help our community continue to grow, develop, and thrive. In this role, you will play a key part in creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment where residents are encouraged to build self-esteem, confidence, and practical skills, supporting them on their journey towards recovery and a more independent future.
About you Our ideal candidate will have:
Experience managing staff and/or volunteers
Involvement in service development
Experience working with adults facing mental health challenges
An interest in therapeutic gardening, sustainable living, and nature-based approaches.
This is a permanent position of 37.5 hours per week, based at our beautiful site in South West Scotland. If you enjoy a varied role, are passionate about supporting others, and want to be part of something genuinely special, we would love to hear from you.
