for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in

Naperville, IL.

Details for the position are as follows:

Job Description Duration: 7 months

Pay: $50-55/hr.

My client is seeking a

Materials Planner IV / Materials SAP Analyst

to support site-level materials management and production scheduling in close partnership with the Supply Chain Management team. This role is heavily focused on

SAP material and production planning

and plays a key role in ensuring reliable supply, schedule adherence, and operational excellence within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Support materials management and site production scheduling processes using SAP.

Convert weekly supply plans into production plans and detailed scheduling orders as plans enter the finite production window.

Lead weekly scheduling meetings with Product Supply to align and adjust plant production schedules.

Create, maintain, and close process orders, adjusting daily as needed.

Maintain process orders in SAP APO to support effective EWM execution.

Ensure master schedule compliance, aligning short-, mid-, and long-term plans with current-week process orders.

Execute MRP (Material Requirements Planning) activities, including parameter setup, boundaries, and material call-off processes.

Manage raw materials (RM), packaging materials (PM), and finished goods planning, including new product setups.

Collaborate cross-functionally with suppliers, transportation partners, and internal planning teams to proactively resolve supply or production issues.

Monitor vendor conformance to schedules and address shipping or carrier disruptions.

Support IBP preparation, dashboards, plant DMS participation, and operational excellence initiatives.

Adhere to manufacturing compliance, governance standards, and Integrated Lean Six Sigma (IL6S) ways of working.

Contribute to supply network optimization, value creation, and loss elimination initiatives.

Required Qualifications

Strong SAP planning experience (firmly required)

Hands‑on experience with SAP material planning and production scheduling

Experience supporting materials management and site production scheduling in a manufacturing environment

Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills

Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional and external stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

Manufacturing experience in the food and beverage industry

Exposure to SAP APO, EWM, and IBP processes

Project management experience or knowledge
