The Digital In-Silico Research team is a key innovation engine within Digital R&D, dedicated to pioneering next-generation digital products that reshape how R&D discovers, designs, and develops new medicines. We harnesscutting-edgeAI, machine learning, and computational modeling to build transformative in-silico solutions-empowering scientists with predictive insights, streamlining complex workflows, and turning data into decisive action.

As the Product Owner forInSilicoTranslational Medicine ,you will lead the creation of new AI/ML models for the quantitative pharmacology and/or preclinical safety functions whichare used to inform probability of success of therapeutic candidates as they advance in the R&D pipeline.Additionally,you will industrialize pilot AI/ML models and interoperable data solutions created by our business partners in Quantitative Pharmacology and Preclinical Safety, ensuring scalability, ease of use, and alignment with Digital standards for future proofing.

This position reports to the In Silico Translational MedicineProduct Line Owner.

Key Responsibilities:

Build partnershipswith scientists on the Quantitative Pharmacology and Preclinical Safety teams. Understand thedata, in silico models, and analysis platformsthey use today to carry out their function within R&D.Work together toidentifypain points with existing workflows andmajor opportunitiesforAI/ML models and interoperable data solutions toadvance the R&D pipeline.

Collaboratewiththe In Silico Translational Medicine Product Line Owner and scientists on the Quantitative Pharmacology and Preclinical Safety teamstowritebusiness casesfor new product development, ensuring that investment prioritizesmaximumR&D pipeline acceleration and higherprobability of success for therapeutic candidates.

Defineuserstories and product requirements. Prepare work for data scientists and engineersfollowing agile product development best practices.

Own and prioritizefeatures on theproduct roadmapbased on scientific impact, business value, and technical feasibility.Facilitate sprint planning collaborating closely with a scrum master.Manage the product backlog.

Spearhead user adoption of new products.Perform outreach to scientists to inform them of the new capabilities andprovidenecessary training materials.

Define KPIs and success metrics. Track and report on KPIs to evaluate value provided to the business.

Trackspend throughout product delivery, ensuring that scope of work stays within budget.

Overseelifecycle management fora portfolio ofexisting digital solutionsused by the Quantitative Pharmacology team and/or Preclinical Safety team, staying aligned with thescientistson the value these solutions provide and new options in the marketplace.

About You

Experience and Education (Required)5+ years of experiencein product management,defining new products and features that provide value users. Experiencetranslating business requirements to technical specifications.

(Required)Proventrack recordof collaborating with data scientists and/or developers to create productswhich serve the needs of scientists modeling, analyzing, and/or processing data to advance biomedical research or drug development.

(Required)+2 years of experiencein the life sciences,preferablyin the biopharma sector.

(Required) +2 years of experience managing budgets.

(Required) Bachelor's (Preferred)MS or PhD in Pharmacology, Chemistry, or the Life Sciences (Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related field).
