Position: Trial Attorney
Location: San Antonio, TX
I am working directly with a well-respected San Antonio-based law firm that is seeking an experienced Trial Attorney to join its civil litigation practice. The firm is known for its depth and breadth of experience across a wide range of litigation matters, including personal injury, construction disputes, products liability, premises liability, and first-party insurance coverage.
This attorney will work closely with one of the firm's founding partners and play a meaningful role in case strategy and trial preparation. The position offers a clear path to partnership, and partner-level attorneys are encouraged to inquire.
Responsibilities:
* Manage a diverse civil litigation caseload from initial filing through resolution
* Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery
* Handle all phases of litigation, including depositions, hearings, mediation, and trial preparation
* Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members
Qualifications:
* Juris Doctor and active Texas law license
* Five or more years of civil litigation experience preferred
* Trial experience as first or second chair in jury trials
* Strong analytical, writing, and oral advocacy skills
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Compensation & Benefits:
* Base salary range of $135,000-$170,000, plus performance-based bonuses
