POSITION: Safety Officer
SCHEDULE: Monday thru Friday, 38 weeks -Repost
Essential Job Functions:
* Ensure the safety of students and staff
* Build positive relationships with student body, staff and parent/guardians
* Enforce the Student Code of Conduct
* Patrol interior and exterior of facility
* Assist administration/staff with daily needs
* Perform necessary report writing/documentation duties
* Other duties assigned by administration/supervisor
* Available to work various events in the evening and on weekends
* Ability to work in an economically, culturally and racially diverse environment.
* Regular, reliable and punctual attendance
* Other duties as may be assigned
Additional Duties: Performs other related tasks as designated by the Director of Safety.

QUALIFICATIONS:
* Must be a high school graduate
* Minimum of two years of college level Criminal Justice courses or related work experience preferred
* Must hold and maintain a valid driver's license
