Position Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster to handle Oregon-specific claims in a 100% remote capacity. This role is responsible for managing the full life cycle of workers' compensation claims while ensuring compliance with Oregon statutes, regulations, and best practices.
Salary/Benefits:
* $75,000 to $95,000 annual base salary plus bonus (based on performance)

Requirements:
* Minimum 2-5+ years of Workers' Compensation claims adjusting experience
* Strong working knowledge of Oregon Workers' Compensation laws and regulations
* Oregon Workers' Compensation Adjuster license (or ability to obtain, if applicable)
* Experience handling lost-time claims preferred
* Strong organizational, analytical, and negotiation skills
* Ability to work independently in a remote environment
* Proficiency with claims management systems and Microsoft Office
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a full caseload of Oregon workers' compensation claims from inception through closure
* Investigate claims, determine compensability, and establish appropriate reserves
* Coordinate medical care, communicate with injured workers, employers, attorneys, and medical providers
* Ensure compliance with Oregon Workers' Compensation laws, rules, and reporting requirements
* Evaluate and manage litigated and non-litigated claims
* Prepare documentation, reports, and file notes in accordance with internal standards
* Negotiate settlements and participate in mediations as needed
* Maintain timely and accurate claim handling in accordance with best practices and service-level expectations
