A well-established transportation company is looking for an experienced Accounting Manager,
motivated, committed, energetic team player who would like to join our team.
Responsibilities:
* Manage and oversee the daily operation of accounting department
* Track daily cash activity , records daily cash receipts and other journal entries according to GAAP
* Review and oversee AP and AR
* Prepare and review properly documents
* Process intercompany transactions
* Prepare monthly bank statement reconciliations
* Processing and Ensuring an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close
* Run weekly reports for higher management
* Debt Schedule
* Accounting Department activities including but not limited to month and close, AP process, company expenses, AR process , financial statements preparation , G-L maintenance and periodic projects .
Requirements:
* An Associate degree in accounting , a Bachelor's degree in accounting (preferred)
* 2 years of accounting manager experience in Logistics industry
* Strong knowledge of GAAP , EBIDTA
* Strong knowledge of regulations of Tax Law - State and Federal
* Supervising skills
* Strong knowledge of Quick Books and MS Office
* Ability to work independently and multitask
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am - 5pm CST
