American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift position requiring an active OK or compact RN license and BLS certification.
Job Details
- Work on a 25-bed Medical Surgical unit in a hospital setting,
- Patient ratio is 1:5-6 on average,
- Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 18:45 to 7:15,
- Weekend shifts are required,
- Floating to similar units within scope may be required,
- No on-call responsibilities,
- Uses Epic charting system, Epic experience preferred,
Job Requirements
- Active OK or compact RN license required at time of consideration,
- Current BLS certification required,
- 1-2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience strongly preferred,
- Epic documentation experience preferred,
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply,
- Candidates who were previously employed as permanent staff must have a minimum one-year separation before returning as a traveler,
- Applicants residing within 75 miles are not eligible to apply as locals,
- No travel pairs or groups are accepted for this assignment,
- No more than 3 days of requested time off are automatically approved; no time off allowed during the first week of orientation,
- Navy scrubs required,
- Brief unit orientation and onsite modules will be provided during orientation,
