A growing midsize law firm specializing in domestic relations is seeking a Family Law Attorney to join its team and help meet increasing demand across the State of Ohio. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented attorney to build a rewarding career in a litigation-focused environment.
Responsibilities :
* Manage all stages of domestic relations litigation
* Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
* Prepare for and attend court hearings, mediations, and trials
* Represent clients during settlement negotiations
* Conduct legal research and case strategy development
Qualifications:
* J.D. from an accredited law school and licensed to practice in Ohio
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in family law preferred (or a strong demonstrated interest in the field)
* Strong legal writing and research skills
* High emotional intelligence and professionalism in emotionally charged situations
* Ability to manage caseload independently and meet deadlines
* Courtroom experience strongly preferred
