Location Plainsboro, NJ

Hours Per Diem – schedule below. Position is NOT temporary / NOT an Internship. Apply if you can work year‑round on a permanent basis.

Training: 1 week of training/orientation, including day shift from 8–4:30.

After training: coverage one Saturday per month, one weekday shift per pay period, additional weekday hours as needed depending on census.

Responsibilities

Maintains rehab services equipment.

Assists in the Rehab Services office and in the upkeep of the Rehab Services Department.

Assists therapists and therapist assistants in patient treatment.

Contributes positively to the functioning of the Rehab Services Department.

Facilitates the rehab department through efficient time and resource management.

Adapts approach to reflect respect for and sensitivity to individual differences.

Communicates in ways that are consistent with situational needs.

Supports customer service and performance improvement goals of the department; collaborates with other caregivers and staff within and outside the department to develop means of enhancing patient care and service.

Possesses knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to meet patients’ physical, psychological and social needs with the appropriate growth and developmental levels/patient populations served within the department.

Participates in unit compliance as related to established standards.

Maintains standards of confidentiality.

Other duties and projects as assigned.

Credentials

Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required)

CPR certification required

Education or Equivalent Experience

H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)

High school education or equivalent life experience is required. Experience preferred, but not required.

Salary Range $16.55 – $21.70 per hour.
