Position Overview Direct Support Professional (DSP)

at

Easterseals PORT Health (ESPH) , Greensboro, NC. This role supports individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) in daily living tasks and goal achievement.

Position Details

Flexible hours: Monday‑Friday 8am‑6pm, with occasional Saturday work.

Location: Greensboro, NC.

Compensation: $18.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

Provide care in the individual's home and community.

Assist with everyday tasks such as housekeeping, meal preparation, cooking, cleaning, bathing, and dressing.

Support employment activities and transportation to appointments.

Help plan and organize the client's schedule.

Maintain daily documentation and reporting in the electronic health record system.

Qualifications & Requirements

Entry‑level experience: on‑the‑job training provided.

High school diploma or GED required.

Interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and dependability are musts.

Proficiency with EHR systems or willingness to learn.

Reliable transportation and current auto insurance.
