Overview
North Smithfield, Rhode Island, United States (on-site). This is a full-time FLOAT position (30‑40 hours per week) based out of North Smithfield, RI offering every‑other weekend off, comprehensive benefits, CME allowance, and a 401(k) plan.

Responsibilities
Provide primary and family evidence‑based care, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment and management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for patients.
Handle administrative duties: open/close the clinic, inventory, patient follow‑up, verify insurance and collect payment, maintain a clean environment.
Manage patient appointments and perform routine examinations to ensure positive health outcomes.
Speak with patients about healthy lifestyle choices, complete diagnostic tests, and coordinate with other healthcare professionals to maintain a comprehensive plan of care.
Encourage patients to become active participants in their own healthcare and well‑being through health screenings, behavioral health and wellness, and chronic condition management.
Required Qualifications
Holistic evidence‑based care, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for patients, including pregnancy prevention and sexually transmitted infection (STI) prevention.
Order and administer immunizations and injections (COVID‑19, influenza, TB, Depo) and provide evidence‑based patient/parent vaccine counseling and education.
Minimum of two years of medically relevant experience or equivalent.
Complete the DOT certification exam within 30 days of employment.
Proficiency in both speaking and writing in additional languages (e.g., Spanish) is preferred.
BLS certification, including CPR and operating an AED.
Pass a FIT test and wear the provided respirator mask when protocol requires.
Preferred Qualifications
If less than 1 year of work experience as a licensed provider, prior student precepting rotation with MinuteClinic is preferred, but not required.
Epic experience preferred.
Education
Master's Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role.
Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is $46.03 – $99.14 per hour. This range represents the base hourly rate for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short‑term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
