Retail Management Certificate
The Opportunity Under direct supervision, the Meat Clerk provides friendly, courteous and helpful customer service. The role involves assisting customers, cleaning shelves, and displaying cases. Cleans, fills, and rotates the Meat Wrap displays. Works with customers to take special orders and with the Meat Cutter to determine which items need to be cut. Must be able to lift 50 lbs., bend, stand, and stoop for prolonged periods. The working environment is typical for a fast‑paced grocery store and essential functions include physical requirements such as lifting, standing, walking, and kneeling as well as visual and auditory requirements.
Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification is required for all positions related to preparation, handling, and serving food.
