Pay & Schedule
$1,320+ per week
Solo Miles Pay: $0.53 per mile (≈1,900 miles per week)
Solo Stops Pay: $23.75 per stop (≈12 stops per week)
Per Diem Pay: $28.00 per night (1–3 nights per week)
Hours: 45+ per week
Overnights: Ryder‑booked hotel or sleeper cabin
Paid training
Schedule: Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday; Start times vary from Noon to 5:00 AM
Route & Equipment
Route: Regional – Southeast from VA to FL and East of MS
Tractor: Day cab or sleeper
Trailer: Dry van, 53 ft
Equipment: Manual pallet jack, lift gate
Freight: Touch – hardware materials
Hazmat endorsement will be earned within 90 days of hire (training provided)
Trucks: 36‑month or newer; 24/7 roadside maintenance; fuel at company locations
Benefits

Paid personal time off: starts Day 1, 80 hours accrued in first year

Requirements
Minimum 21 years of age
Pass a Ryder drug test, background/MV check, DOT physical, and Ryder road test
Provide a valid CDL Class A with required endorsements
Class A experience: 9 months in past 3 years, or 2 years in past 5 years, or 5 years in past 10 years
Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and agency laws, regulations, and standards
Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards; maintain accurate records and logs
Load/unload freight or assist with customer loading/unloading if required
Perform other duties as assigned
