Responsibilities
Lead nursing staff and manage patient care in the MedSurg unit.
Ensure holistic, patient‑centered care and high quality, safe treatment.
Participate in clinical research and medical advances that improve patient outcomes.
Mentor staff and foster a collaborative environment with state‑of‑the‑art technology.

Qualifications
Graduate of a nursing program (minimum education required).
Current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
BLS certification required.
New graduates of a nursing program are eligible.
For PRN positions: one year of nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable.
Business unit: Piedmont Newton Hospital.
