Join Maxim Healthcare as a Registered Nurse in private duty home‑care nursing. This full‑time, entry‑level position provides one‑on‑one support to pediatric and/or adult patients in their homes in Wichita, KS.
Base pay range
$28.00/hr – $32.00/hr Responsibilities
Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care and services provided to clients receiving contracted services, as required. Initiate the plan of care when directed and request from prescriber any necessary revisions as patient status and needs change. Incorporate therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and established goals. Intervene as applicable in response to changes in patient/client condition and report such changes to the appropriate physician or supervisor. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, and monitor and document effectiveness of interventions. Review the plan of care and program protocols and identify areas for health‑care teaching/education, care coordination, goal setting, and discharge planning needs, as applicable. Requirements
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state in which the nurse practices. Current health certificate (per facility RN contract or state regulation). Current PPD or chest X‑ray. Current hands‑on BLS card. Preferred: one year of prior RN experience. Benefits
