Job Description Shift: 1st Shift

Days of Work: Monday - Friday

Work Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm

Work Location: On‑site (Mankato, MN)

Start Salary: $53,200 to $74,500

Pay Frequency: Bi‑Weekly

Position Objective The site scheduler uses the site master schedule, interplant transfers, and internal sales orders to assure adequate operating stock at all facilities by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Update and maintain production schedule.

Update and maintain planning metrics; coordinate with planners to ensure reporting is updated timely and accurately.

Participate in daily production huddle.

Participate in SIOP and demand planning meetings.

Update and maintain and lead OMM activities.

Maintain aging metric

Collaborate with cross‑functional team to ensure actions are closed timely.

Schedule based on capacity utilizing capacity tools.

Coordinate reschedule requests and LT requests.

Work with planning manager to execute interplant transfers.

Lead production plan activities.

Develop weekly shipping plan with the planning manager.

Review and report site performance/execution with production manager.

Update and maintain tier five file with root cause/identify swaps.

Review interplant schedules with operations and materials teams to ensure overdue material shortages are tracked and expedited.

Experience & Skills

5+ years of experience in a scheduler role within a manufacturing organization.

Knowledge of the principles and practices of planning/scheduling.

Ability to operate with urgency to meet both external and internal customer expectations.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent problem‑solving skills and methodologies.

Ability to work independently or in a team environment as needed.

Ability to manage multiple projects or issues simultaneously.

Proficient in MS Office; advanced user of Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).

Education

Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
