Position Summary The Assistant Finance Manager is responsible for the efficient daily operation of the Finance Division, reporting directly to the Assistant Director of Finance. This role aligns with Hyatt's corporate strategies and brand standards, supporting
the expectations of our employees, guests, and ownership. The Assistant Finance Manager oversees key financial functions, including income audit, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, general accounting, and cost audit. This role ensures compliance with financial regulations, enhances departmental productivity, supports financial planning and reporting, and fosters exceptional internal service delivery. The position also supervises the Financeffff:& Accounting team, ensuring operational excellence and contributing to talent development within a supportive, values‑driven environment.
Key Responsibilities Accounts Payable (AP)
Supervise and manage the AP function to ensure timely and accurate invoice processing with proper approvals and coding.
Review and reconcile vendor statements; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
Oversee preparation and processing of vendor payments, including electronic transfers and checks.
Ensure accurate recording of AP transactions in the accounting system.
Collaborate with departments to resolve invoice‑related issues and improve payment processes.
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with internal controls.
Assist(mywith AP account reconciliations.
Accounts Receivable (AR)
Collaborate with our off‑shore AR team to ensure timely and accurate client/guest billing.
Monitor and follow up on outstanding receivables; resolve billing issues through close communication with customers and internal departments.
Review AR aging reports and take appropriate action on overdue accounts.
Work with Sales and Reservations teams to address 책임 payment inquiries.
Assist with AR account reconciliations and ensure accurate financial records.
General Accounting & Support
Assist with month‑end and year‑end closings related to AP and AR.
Over chuyểnall cash‑handling audits; approve daily reports ensuring accurate recording of receipts.
Review journal vouchers and balance sheet schedules to ensure timely and accurate financial closings.
Provide training and support to the Finance and hotel teams to improve skills and efficiency.
Partner with Finance leadership to streamline processes and implement best practices in AP and AR.
Handle special projects and ad‑hoc financial tasks as assigned.
Support overall hotel operations through financial expertise.
Compensation & Benefits The starting salary for this position is $64,000. Actual pay will be commensurate with experience.

Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in AP and AR, preferably within the hospitality industryarlos.
Proficiency in accounting and purchasing software (Opera or similar systems preferred).
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
A proactive, team‑oriented mindset with a desire to grow and lead.
