Job Summary
We are seeking a General Cardiologist to join a well‑established independent practice within the medical community of Chippenham Hospital. This opportunity welcomes candidates needing a J1 Waiver.
Qualified Candidates
Board eligible or board certified in cardiology
Virginia licensure or ability to obtain
Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate clearly and concisely with all levels of nursing, physicians, and administration
Anticipated call schedule: 1:4 call with new physician

65‑bed Emergency Department
12‑bed dedicated Pediatric Emergency Department
15 operating rooms
Spacious Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum suites
Tucker Pavilion – 137 beds dedicated to inpatient acute behavioral health care
Levinson Heart Institute with four dedicated cardiac ORs, three interventional catheterization, and three electrophysiology labs
32‑bed Medical Surgical ICU, 12‑bed Coronary ICU, and 12‑bed dedicated CV ICU
