Job Details We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Controller to join our team. This role is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on our company's financial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

Supervision and development of monthly accounting processes, procedures and staffing.

Timely preparation of monthly accounting reporting.

Coordinate, analyze, and report the financial performance to Management and Board of Directors (financial performance, projections, and other special projects as required).

Prepare short and long-term financial forecasts of financial performance for use with internal management and external parties.

Oversee audit and tax functions, coordinate activities with outside audit firms and review firms' performance.

Ensure compliance with the financial procedures of the organization.

Works with department managers to develop five-year business plans.

Assist Management in the formulation of its overall strategic direction.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position.

Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems.

Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations.

Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.

Working knowledge of short and long-term budgeting and forecasting, rolling budgets, and product-line profitability analysis.

Experience in managing relationships with banks, auditors, and legal firms.

Proficiency in cash flow analysis, annual budgeting, and ledger management.
