Job Description The Controlling Manager will combine strong financial acumen and operational knowledge to drive efficiency and profitability throughout the product life cycle from tender to design to manufacturing to product delivery to warranty finishing with long‑term maintenance. Guided by the BU HVAC VP Finance, you will analyze performance, identify growth opportunities and implement initiatives that optimize resources and maximize returns.

The Controlling Manager oversees the entire Finance, Controlling, Treasury and Accounting functions for Merak North America. This role involves significant, direct interaction with the Managing Director, internal stakeholders and the Corporate Merak colleagues.

Essential Functions

Responsible for operational reporting, controlling budget and forecasting for Merak North America.

Manage and supervise all FICO staff.

Prepare monthly, quarterly and yearly financial and management reports.

Create the annual budget, semi‑annual forecasts and monthly/quartely outlooks to meet deadlines within the Merak planning calendar.

Consult with stakeholders to achieve budgeting and forecasting deadlines.

Manage year‑end audit, taxes and other statutory requirements.

Maintain and safeguard business records.

Work with sales to evaluate new projects and assess financial viability.

Develop and monitor data to advise the business of weaknesses and improve overall operational efficiency.

Skills

Support and challenge BU leader regarding the financial performance of the business.

Manage multiple internal customer demands.

Manage product ramp‑ups from a financial standpoint.

Represent the Director of Finance in Top Management Review Meetings.
