Lee Health is now hiring Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech Language Pathologists with at least two years of recent experience to join our Seasonal Therapy Program.

As a member of our Seasonal Therapy staff, you’ll provide exceptional patient care during our busiest times, helping meet the needs of our vibrant community while enjoying the best of coastal living.
The Physical Therapist (PT) position is responsible for examining, evaluating and testing individuals with mechanical, physiological and developmental impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities or other health and movement-related conditions in order to determine a diagnosis, prognosis andنم *and* plan of treatment intervention, and assess the ongoing effects of intervention. The PT is also responsible for alleviating impairments, functional limitations and disabilities by designing, implementing and modifying treatment interventions. Additional responsibilities include reducing the risk of injury, impairment, functional limitation and disability, as well as, the promotion and maintenance of fitness, health and wellness in populations of all ages. The PT is engaged in administration, consultation, education and research. The PT is expected to conduct themselves in an effective professional behavior manner. The attributes, characteristics or behaviors required for success in this job include: critical thinking, communication, problemThumb solving, interpersonal skills, responsibility, professionalism, use of constructive feedback, effective use of time and resources, stress management and commitment to learning.
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's in Physical Therapy or
Bachelor's in Occupational Therapy or
Masters in Speech-Language Pathology

Certifications/Registration Requirements Required:
BLS (American Heart Association / Basic Life Support)
Other:Staff may be required to rotate to treatment areas, other than their primary designation, as requested by their department leader. This could include a regulated area (Skilled Nursing Facility, Home Health, Rehab Hospital and Pediatrics) that requires Level 2 Background Screening.
