ATTENTION MILITARY AFFILIATED JOB SEEKERS - Our organization works with partner companies to source qualified talent for their open roles. The following position is available to Veterans, Transitioning Military, National Guard and Reserve Members, Military Spouses, Wounded Warriors, and their Caregivers.
Location: Pottstown, Pennsylvania (On-site)

Starting salary: $42.44 /hour.
Primary Purpose of Position Obtain samples, prepare them, and analyze the samples for chemical and radioanalytical analysis from plant systems.
Primary Duties and Accountabilities
Record and trend data from the chemical analysis.
Notify chemistry management for out‑of‑specification conditions and adverse trends.
Respond to operations chemistry needs.
Perform the on‑shift chemistry technician emergency plan duties.
Perform inventories of chemicals, equipment and supplies.
Maintain the laboratory and instruments in top material condition with good housekeeping.
Perform self‑monitoring of radiation dose equivalent and conduct associated radiological surveys for chemistry related tasks.
As required, change out gas bottles for chemical and counting room instruments, change resin columns for laboratory demineralized water systems, replace chart paper on recorders, and refill liquid nitrogen dewars.
Minimum Education Required High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or educational equivalent, including chemistry and mathematics courses.
Ability to pass pre‑employment testing (EEI TECH test).
Ability to work different shifts.
Ability to receive unescorted Nuclear access.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
Demonstrates leadership capabilities by motivating and inspiring others to accept challenges and meet or exceed expectations, and consistently achieves results while acting as a role model for exhibiting appropriate behaviors.
One of the following:
Bachelors or Masters Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, or equivalent degree.
Two years professional work experience in chemistry.
Navy Nuclear experience as an Engineering Lab Technician (ELT).
