Position Overview Ewing Outdoor Supply is looking for an excellent customer service associate for our fantastic Super Center in Justin, TX! The ideal candidate will be passionate about customer service and safety, able to hustle in a fast‑paced distribution warehouse, and capable of balancing warehouse and customer‑service duties. The role requires lifting 50–70 lbs and using your brain to build product knowledge while helping at the sales counter.
Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in the green industry and landscape is preferred, but not required. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.
Responsibilities
Go the extra mile to engage customers
Greet and direct customers
Provide accurate product information (features, pricing, after‑sales services)
Answer customer questions about specific products/services
Conduct price and feature comparisons to facilitate purchasing
Cross‑sell products
Ensure racks are fully stocked
Manage returns of merchandise
Coordinate with the team to provide excellent customer service, especially during peak times
Inform customers about discounts and special offers
Provide customer feedback to the Store Manager
Stay up to date with new products/services
Deliver a variety of items to different addresses and on different routes
Follow routes and time schedules
Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate a delivery vehicle
Ask for feedback on provided services and resolve client complaints
Inform customers about new products and services
Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
Requirements
Prior outdoor supply industry experience
Comfortable working most of the shift on your feet and performing repetitive physical tasks (stooping, squatting, lifting above head)
Comfortable operating and making daily route deliveries in an Isuzu NRR 650 or similar commercial vehicle
Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
Ability to multi‑task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Basic math skills
Ability to lift 50–70 pounds
Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships
Ability to perform in fast‑paced environments
Valid driver’s license
Excellent organizational and time‑management skills
Good driving record with no traffic violations
Bonus Points
Bilingual (Spanish & English)
Ability to operate forklifts and tractors in a variety of weather and traffic conditions (willing to train the right candidate)
Proven work experience as a Customer Service Associate, Sales Associate, or similar role
Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures
