Qualifications

Minimum: 18 years of age, valid driver’s license, basic math skills, and ability to pass company‑paid physical test.

Must be available to work varied shifts—including days, evenings, nights, and weekends.

Preferred: Dock/warehouse experience in transportation, forklift operation in freight/less‑than‑truckload, trailer loading/unloading, strong written and verbal communication, and keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Move trailers and load freight at least one day per week using pallet jack, forklift, or other motorized equipment.

Operate hostler in all weather conditions, safely walking and standing for extended periods on a non‑climate‑controlled dock.

Safely operate heavy equipment, including moving and connecting/disconnecting a converter dolly (≈128 lbs).

Use mobile handheld devices to scan and track shipments.

Lift objects up to 50 lbs frequently and occasionally >70 lbs, reach, bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat, and kneel as required.

Adhere to company safety policies and maintain a safe, efficient work environment.
