About the Role A fast-paced operations team is seeking a highly organized and proactive
Field Service Operations Coordinator
to support and manage field service operations in Columbus, MS. This role is responsible for scheduling and coordinating all service activities—including internal technicians and third-party vendors. Key responsibilities include managing service calls, overseeing work order completion, maintaining records, and supporting inventory and parts coordination. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, thrives in dynamic environments, and plays a vital role in ensuring timely service delivery and high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Schedule and dispatch service calls for equipment repairs and maintenance
Coordinate with both in-house technicians and third-party service providers
Monitor and follow up on open service tickets to ensure timely resolution
Maintain detailed service records using CRM or service management tools
Communicate clearly with customers regarding service status and updates
Support operations with documentation, scheduling, and coordination of parts
Assist with managing service inventory and parts ordering
Track and report on service performance metrics and completion rates
Skills / Qualifications
Experience in service coordination, dispatch, or administrative support (preferably within field service or equipment-related industries)
Strong organizational and time-management abilities
Clear and professional communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
Familiarity with CRM or service scheduling platforms is a plus
Team player comfortable interacting with technicians, vendors, and customers
