Bandsaw Shop Operator
As a Bandsaw Shop Operator, you’ll get to set up our builders for success by setting up and operating power saws to slot, cut, and trim wood for pallet creation! You’ll be a vital piece of our pallet manufacturing process, and we’re looking for a motivated individual to fill this role. Hourly Pay:
$14.00/hr. + Piece Rate Shift(s):
1st Shift Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:00pm Location:
514 Merida St., San Antonio, TX 78207 (SA Central) Responsibilities
Operate power saws to cut & trim wood pallets. Follow and adhere to all safety rules and regulations. Communicate to plant management effectively on a regular basis. Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED. Previous experience in lumber, warehouse, construction, carpentry, landscaping, or roofing preferred. Quick hands, attention to detail, and commitment to quality. Ability to lift wooden pallets weighing about 50 lbs. on a regular basis. Ability to work overtime as needed. Work Environment
Ability to work in extreme conditions (heat, cold, air particulate). Repetitive lifting up to 50-75 pounds and adjusting body position throughout shifts. Noise level depends on location. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required (eye protection, ear protection at some locations, safety shoes). Specific vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, and color vision. Benefits
