Maintenance Technician
Open Sky Community Services is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our in‑house Maintenance team.
The role collaborates with the Property Manager to develop routine and preventative maintenance schedules for properties within a designated territory and manages projects and repair issues related to electrical, heating, air conditioning, ventilation, plumbing and fire protection systems.
Responsibilities
Perform inspections of assigned properties at least twice per year.
Oversee turnovers for agency‑supported apartments and conduct move‑out inspections/repairs in group residences as needed.
Utilize Property Services Software (WorXhub) to complete work orders assigned by the Property Manager and Program Staff.
Ensure all properties meet local, state, and federal building codes.
Qualifications High School Diploma, GED or equivalent; valid driver’s license and acceptable driving history. Previous experience with facilities maintenance including carpentry, electrical and plumbing skills; knowledge of safety procedures and building code regulations. Must achieve OSHA 10 certification within one year of hire.
Pay & Rates Base pay range: $23.00/hr – $23.00/hr. Current rates: Maintenance Tech I (0‑3 years experience) – $23.00/hr; Maintenance Tech II (3+ years experience) – $25.12/hr.
