Write simple correspondence.
Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees.
Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
Basic PC/Outlook skills (extra awesome).
Retail Management Certificate (extra awesome).
Responsibilities
Provide friendly, courteous and helpful customer service.
Assist customers, clean shelves and display cases, and maintain the Meat Wrap displays.
Work with customers to take special orders and coordinate with the Meat Cutter on items to be cut.
Lifting, bending, standing and stooping for prolonged periods; lifting up to 50 lbs. regularly.
The working environment is typical for a fast‑paced grocery store. Essential functions include physical requirements such as lifting, standing, walking and kneeling, as well as visual and auditory requirements. Food Handler Certification Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification is required for all positions related to preparation, handling and serving food.
