What to Expect
The Equipment Operator operates machinery to produce stainless steel образом. Operators must also ensure that the product is within the customer's specifications while following company procedures.

What You’ll Do
Operate machinery to produce stainless steel tubes
Use computers to determine proper job sequence and report production amounts and time on the job
Load and unload material from the machines while constantly monitoring operation of machinery
Adjust production where needed according to work instructions and procedures
Conduct in‑process quality checks
Additional report generation may be required in this role
Ensure proper safety protocols are being observed
Work closely with the maintenance team to keep all machinery running properly
Participate in process improvement and maintain a clean work environment
Perform other duties as assigned, such as helping train new operators
Qualifications
HS diploma or GED preferred
Previous experience as an equipment operator in a manufacturing setting is a plus
Previous experience in the stainless steel tubing industry is not mandatory, but a plus
Excellent communication skills to understand work instructions
Proficient in the use of measurement devices including tape measures and micrometers
