Position Summary The Radiology Clerk serves as a liaison among patients, families, physicians, and other disciplines. Responsibilities include scheduling, registering procedures, providing reports, and responding to internal and external requests for radiology services. The clerk works closely with Radiology staff to facilitate outpatient scheduling and enhance patient satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Act as liaison between patients, their families, physicians, and other disciplines for scheduling and registration.
Provide radiology service reports and respond to internal and external requests.
Facilitate outpatient scheduling to improve patient satisfaction.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Knowledge & Skills:
Good verbal and written communication; ability to perform multiple tasks independently; medical terminology and basic typing skills.
Equipment Proficiency:
Personal computer, copier, fax machine, Microsoft Office suite, RIS, HIS, PACS.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to meet essential physical requirements of the job.
Pay Range $21.00 - $29.12 per hour.
The posted pay range reflects the lowest to highest pay that was available for this position at the time of posting and may be subject to change. Salary offers are determined by candidate’s relevant experience and skills. For per diem positions, a standard rate is used based on market data and not the candidate’s individual experience.
