Where You Will Work:
The Emergency Department at Atrium Health Navicent Peach serves as a vital component of this critical access hospital located in Byron, Georgia. We are designated as a Pathway to Excellence Facility by the ANCC for demonstrating a commitment to establishing the foundation of a healthy workplace for staff. The facility features a 14‑bed emergency department designed to provide prompt and effective care for a wide range of medical emergencies in the community. Our Emergency Department earned the ENA Lantern award in 2025 for demonstrating exceptional and innovative performance in leadership, practice, education, advocacy and research. Nursing to patient ratios in the emergency department are maintained at either 3:1 or 4:1, ensuring that each nurse is responsible for three to four patients at a time. This allows for attentive, personalized care and facilitates timely responses to patient needs-drive.
We’re Looking For:
Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
Emergency Room experience is preferred
What You’ll Do:
As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
Using evidence‑based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
About This Location: Atrium Health Navicent Peach has served residents of Peach and the surrounding counties for 60 years, as a designated critical access hospital.
