Salary:
$33,496 - $40,848 annually. Eligible employees may also receive a $2,000 stipend for a MA degree or a $3,000 stipend for a Doctorate. Additional incentives: $2,000 MA stipend (based on full‑time equivalency), professional development, CalSTRS retirement, grants for higher education, 4% salary increase effective July 1, 2025, student loan forgiveness.

Job Summary Assist the Associate Teacher/Site Supervisor in providing direct care to infant‑to‑preschool aged children and support operations at a school site or childcare facility in Early Care and Education.
Responsibilities
Provide direct care and instruction to infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
Assist in maintaining a safe and engaging environment.
Collaborate with the Associate Teacher and site staff to implement curriculum plans.
Support record keeping, attendance, and health monitoring.
Requirements / Qualifications
Possession of a valid Assistant Teacher, Early Care and Education Permit, or eligibility to obtain one.
Experience and/or training appropriate to fulfill the position requirements; infant/toddler/preschool training and experience preferred.
Availability for 186 days, 8‑hour days in Santa Maria, CA.
