PTS Advance
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Engineering Technologist to join our engineering team. This role plays a key part in supporting engineers and project leads by tracking information, maintaining document control, and ensuring data is organized and readily accessible. The successful candidate will contribute to high-quality technical documentation, support meeting presentations, and help drive process improvements while promoting teamwork and safety.
Responsibilities
Support engineers and leads by tracking project information and locating technical documents
Maintain open‑item punch lists and monitor status updates
Prepare and support presentation materials, including slides for meetings
Assist in the preparation, review, and updating of technical documents under engineer guidance
Support CAD updates and back‑checking as needed
Ensure work is performed to high‑quality standards and project schedules
Maintain Key Process Improvement registers
Foster a collaborative, open, and innovative work environment
Qualifications
Associate degree (AA/AS) with 3-4 years of relevant experience OR no degree with 5-6 years of relevant experience
Must be a U.S. citizen
Ability to pass pre‑employment drug screen and background check
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)
Strong computer skills for collecting, organizing, and presenting technical data
Analytical skills to identify and classify technical information from documents
Attention to detail and ability to manage large sets of technical data
Ability to coordinate with multiple disciplines and teams
Interest in learning to draft piping & instrumentation diagrams
